Residenssissä työskentelin paikkasuhteisesti haluina ja tekoina luoda romanttisia suhteita eläviin ympäristöihin. Romanttisia merkkejä olivat hylättyjen tai unohdettujen materiaalien arvostaminen ja kerääminen, halkeamien ja aukkojen tarkastelu sekä karhunvatukkasuudelmat. Näiden kahden viikon aikana työskentelin dialogissa muiden residenssin taiteilijoiden kanssa.

Blackberry kisses (1h 30 min) on kolmesta tilasta koostuva esityksellinen paikka, jossa osallistuja saa valita missä tiloissa haluaa olla ja kuinka kauan. Tiloissa on kutsuja pieniin, mutta merkittäviin tekoihin, joihin voi halutessaan osallistua. Esityksellinen paikka ei ole näyttelytila, jossa pätisivät tietyt oletukset; esimerkiksi ei tarvitse yrittää olla paikoillaan ja hiljaa tai pelätä koskea ympärilla oleviin asioihin. Osallistujia kehoitetaan kuitenkin huolehtimaan toisistaan koskemaan toisiin ihmisiin vain kysymällä suostumusta ja olemalla tietoinen, että samassa tilassa on mahdollisesti muita samaan aikaan.

In the residency I worked site related, with urges and actions to create romantic relationships to living surroundings. Appreciating and gathering something overlooked or abandoned, looking into cracks and holes and giving black berry kisses emerged as romantic signs. Within these two weeks I worked in dialogue with other artists in the residency.

Blackberry kisses (1h 30min) is a performative place, consisting of three space and the participant can choose in which spaces they want to visit and for how long. The participants are invited to participate in small but meaninful actions. The performative space is not an exhibition space and there is no certain expectations how to be there; for example there´s no need to force oneself to be still and silent or afraid to touch surroundings . The participants are asked to take care of each other by not touching another person without asking consent and being mindful that there might be others in the space at the same time.
