"Horizon on esitys, joka ei valmistu, vaan säilyy yhä uudelleen muotoutuvana prosessina. Saaren tavoin se ehdottaa esiintyjälleen kulkemista sen moninaisessa maastossa aistit avoinna, näyttäytyen aina erilaisena säästä, tuulesta, vuoden- tai vuorokauden ajasta riippuen. Saaren moninaisuuden keskeltä avautuu näkymä merelle laajenevaan horisonttiin. Teos rakentuu scoresta, joka piirtää sille ääriviivat ja jota esiintyjät tulkitsevat tapahtuvassa hetkessä. Horizon on tanssitaiteen ensimmäisen vuoden opiskelijoiden ensimmäinen taiteellinen projekti, liikelähtöinen ryhmäkoreografia. Ensimmäisessä taiteellisessa projektissa tavoitteena on vastuullinen ja luova työskentely ryhmässä, teoksen taiteellisten ja tyylillisen viitekehysten ymmärtäminen sekä oman osuuden ymmärtäminen ja kantaminen teoksen merkitysmaailman rakentumisessa. "

"Horizon is a performance that doesn´t become finished, rather remains as a reforming process. Like an island, for the performer it proposes  walking in diverse grounds with open senses, appearing always different depending on weather, wind, the time of the year or time of the day. From the middle of diversity opens a  view to the horizon that expands to the sea. This piece is built from a score that gives outlines and which the dancers interpret in the occuring moment. Horizon is a movement oriented group choreography, the first artistic project of the first year students studying in BA programme in Dance. In the first artistic project goals are responsible and creative working in a group, understanding artistic and stylistic frameworks and understanding and carrying ones own role in building meanings. "

"The sound has been designed by Harri Ahponen.  The central basis have been the density and entanglement of sounds and becoming less dense and decomposition. Space and time intertwine as a constantly changing process. "
