Esityksen sydänelin hikoilee biittiä tehtävistään elämän ylläpitäjänä, sielun asuinpaikkana ja tunnekeskuksena. Symbolina se piirtyy alanurkan varaelämäksi videopelissä etenevälle hahmolle, traagisesti päättyneen romanttisen suhteen merkiksi kierrätyskeskuksen hyllyllä makaavassa riipuksessa ja nokkeluuteen pyrkivän sanailmaisun enteeksi sykkivissä runosuonissa. Olen alkanut kaivamaan sydämen juuria ihmetellessäni miksi juuri sydän? Esityksen ihana läpättävä sydän on metamorfoosissa pyristelemässä ulos sortaviin yhteiskuntarakenteisiin kytkeytyvästä menneisyydestään ja kertomatta jätettyjen tarinoiden rajoittamasta kuorestaan.

Heart the organ sweats a beat for it´s tasks of sustaining life, being home to the soul and the center for emotions. You can see it in a form of a symbol as the spare life of a character flashing on bottom corner of video game, in a locket lying on a shelf of the recycling center - maybe as a sign of tragically ended relationship or in the pulsating veins ready to burst out with poetry. I´ve started to dig into the roots of the heart, wondering, why the heart? In the performance the eager flapping heart is in the state of metamorphosis, scrabbling away from its roots tied to oppressive social structures and hatching from it´s shelf, limited by untold stories.
